Right Im having a moan.
CHEESE IS OFFICIALLY A RIP OFF.
Last weeks cheese bill was nearly £12. I like a variety but its getting silly now. But they wont beat me as I have another source for my cheese now other than the supermarkets thankyou very much.
Err are Cyclists or Runners allowed cheese. Yes Wensleydale with cranberries in, thats healthy aint it , surely !!!!!!
Cheese...it is a lovely thing. Well done, sticking it to the "man."
ReplyDeleteWell said Daz. This could be the start of something. What do we want? Quality affordable cheese. When do we want it? Now!
ReplyDeleteSo where should we go for our cheese? Is there a need for a pilgrimage to east Derbyshire?
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm Cheese. Please tell us where Daz.
ReplyDeleteAh the thought of cheaper cheese.
ReplyDeleteNo its strange but the factory next door to us imports and exports cheese.
I get all sorts from there and to give you a comaprison, currently I pay £10 for a block of extra mature cheddar which comes from a well know company in Ireland and the size of the block is about the size of a breeze block. The profit that is being made on cheese is unreal these days.
I can get a full Stilton for about £20 which is huge, prob about 12" diameter.
I might start selling it myself. Given it some serious thought.
I am still a sucker for Ye Olde Cheese shoppes, like the one at Hartington
ReplyDeleteI bought £16 worth at Hartington on Saturday. I couldn't live without cheese. I pay whatever it takes. They've got me by the proverbials.
